Nalanee's Best Friend Award

Shout Out for Nalanee!

Today we were learning about how to be positive online. We did a shout out for someone to show online positivity, and I did my best friend, Nalanee, because she deserves it!

I think if I didn't have Nalanee in my life, I would be a bit different.

I found the photo from some pictures in my drive.

How do you think we can show more ways of being positive online?

Factoring

Factoring Quiz

Today for maths we had to something to showcase our learning outcome, and I did a quiz about Factoring.

My next step would be to complete it.

I got the information from the Te Ara Takitini Site.

If you did it, did you get them all right?

Venngage Infographic

Venngage Infographic

Today our class learned how to use Venngage, a program where you can make presentations, infographics, and more. We made an Infographic about Being Positive Online! We've been learning about positivity online, and it's actually very fun!

My next step would be to be a bit quicker.

I got the information from the Uru Mānuka Learning Site.

What do you think is the most important thing about staying positive online?

Contributing

How to Contribute

This week my class's value Contributing. We had to do a Google Drawing about how we can contribute in different places.

We got the information from each other, and ourselves by contributing.

My next step would be to add more ways to contribute.

What ways would you write for Contributing?

Te Ara Takitini Names

This shows what our names in Takitini mean. We have been doing assessments in Maori about things in the school. The latest one is Te Ara Takitini Names in Maori.

My next step is to learn all the meanings of the names in the school.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

How To Create Quality Blog Posts.

The Quality Blog Post

Today I will be sharing what a quality blog post is made of. We are using a rubric to learn about the points of a great blog post. The rubric has three levels, all containing different points of a blog post, getting into higher levels, the expectations for better blog posts get higher.

I haven't used a rubric before, but I find it very useful for our learning. I want to be in the Green Area, the Smart Learner, but I think right now I'm only on the Orange Area, the Stepping Up.

We got the information from the Uru Manuka Smart Learner resources, where the rubric was written.

If you could tell me how to improve my future blog posts, even more, I'd appreciate if you could give me some suggestions!
